Another of publisher Charlie Comics never-ending series of short-lived titles devoted to Hoverboy. This was the second to last issue of "Joke Book".

The humor is mundane in typical Charlie fashion. The character of Pepper for some reason has been renamed Jodie. Hoverboy has a pet cat called Sparkles and never even flies or fights crime!

It seems like Charlie publishers took stock gags and just pasted Hoverboy into the story, as they material here is no different than those you’d find in L’IL MONKEY or CHARLIE AND BONEHEAD.

The biggest joke in this book is the one on Hoverboy fans! Groan...
