HOVERBOY COCA-COLA AD

It seems if there was ever something to shill, Hoverboy would shill it. From War Bonds during the early 1940's, to "Wee Wee Slugger" baseball bats in the 1960's. But rarely was Hoverboy associated with as recognizable a product as Coca Cola, as seen in this ad from 1951! Reminiscent of the Coke Santa adds, Hoverboy proclaims, "Everything's better... with Coke!". A bold statement to be sure. However, unlike Santa, Coke would grow increasing concerned with it's connection to Hoverboy throughout the early 1950's, ultimately ending the relationship in 1955.

Another supposed ad produced was a partnership between Coke and Camel Cigarettes which read, "Nothing satisfies... like a Coke and a smoke!".
